Dr. Murray graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He completed his education in only seven years and graduated in the top ten of his class. Dr. Murray practiced in Benson and Tucson before joining the Animal Care Center of Green Valley in 1993, becoming sole owner in 2004.

His professional interests include complex diagnostics, lameness, orthopedic surgery and dentistry. Dr. Murray is a frequent speaker to animal groups and the host of "Animal Care Talk" on KGVY 1080AM, on Wednesdays at 12:10 pm. Outside of the profession, his passion is water skiing. Dr. Murray shares his home with his wife, Cheryl, their dogs, and horses.
